Q: Are there golf carts?
A: There are a few golf carts that the nurses, maintenance staff and program will use.
Q: Why can’t we get packages?
A: We receive TONS of mail at camp! We have found that a thoughtful letter is much more impactful than a package of stuff. Packages can create inequities within the cabin and generate additional trash. If your camper forgot something important, like their raincoat, please contact the office for instructions.
Q: Can campers call home?
A: Campers do not call home. Make sure to send plenty of letters!

Q: What is a Huckster?
A: We celebrate campers and staff who have been at camp for 5 years. They become Hucksters at year 5, Double at year 10, etc.
Q: Will there be fireworks for the fourth of July?
A: Camp Huckins no longer has fireworks. We do not want to disturb our resident loons who usually have a nest/eggs at that time.
